12-Yard Roll-Off Dumpster Rental
in Northern Virginia

We offer one right-sized 12-yard roll-off dumpster — about 12' long, 8' wide, and 3.5' tall, holding roughly 4 pickup truck loads. For most Northern Virginia homeowners that's plenty for a garage or basement cleanout, a single-room renovation, a small deck or shed teardown, or a yard waste cleanup. We kept it to one size on purpose — simpler pricing, no guessing between five container sizes like the national chains. If your project is bigger than that (a whole-house renovation or new construction), our full-service junk removal crew can haul it away in one trip instead.

We can't accept hazardous or regulated materials — wet paint, solvents and adhesives, motor oil, antifreeze, gasoline, pesticides, batteries, tires, propane tanks, refrigerant appliances, electronics, asbestos, or medical waste. Everything else — furniture, mattresses, boxes, drywall, wood, flooring, tile, yard debris, and general household junk — is fine.

The real reason electronics and batteries specifically are banned, even though our junk removal crew takes both on regular jobs: on a junk removal job, our crew sorts electronics out by hand and drives them to a certified e-cycling station separately. A dumpster is self-service — nobody sorts the load before it goes to the transfer station as one mixed pile, so if batteries or electronics turn up in it, the whole load can be rejected or we get fined. That risk falls on us, not on the landfill refusing electronics outright.

If prohibited items are found at pickup, a minimum $100 prohibited-material fee may apply. For larger quantities of hazardous material, we may instead bill the actual specialized disposal cost — which can be well over $100 — and we may refuse pickup until it's removed. For proper disposal instead: batteries can go to any Call2Recycle drop-off point, and electronics to Fairfax County's e-cycling stations at the I-66 Transfer Station or I-95 Landfill Complex, or to any Best Buy. We ask everyone booking online to confirm they've read this list before their reservation is accepted.

Every rental includes 1 ton (2,000 lbs), which comfortably covers most cleanouts and renovation debris. Heavier loads — roofing shingles, dirt, concrete, brick, asphalt, a very full load of drywall — can exceed that well before the container looks full, in which case we bill the extra weight at $125 per ton after pickup, based on the certified transfer station scale weight, not a guess. If you finish early, just let us know and we'll arrange pickup — but your rental price is based on the rental length you selected at booking and doesn't change or get refunded if you finish sooner. If you need it longer, extra days are billed at $30 per day beyond whatever length you originally booked, whether that was 3, 7, or 14 days.
