Common Questions

We deal with this regularly. We assess the access point during the quote โ€” sometimes we remove fence panels, cut a section of the deck surround, or find another route. We'll tell you exactly what's needed before we start.

We don't do licensed electrical work. The 240V line to the spa should be disconnected at the breaker before we arrive. If you need an electrician, we can recommend contacts or you can call any licensed electrician in Northern Virginia.

If possible, drain it 24โ€“48 hours before we arrive. If not, we can drain on-site โ€” but we need a hose bib or drain nearby. A full spa can hold 400โ€“500 gallons, so draining beforehand speeds things up significantly.

Most hot tub removals take 2โ€“4 hours from arrival to cleanup. Larger spas or difficult access situations can take longer. We'll give you a time estimate when we quote.

We take care to protect the surrounding area. We use dollies, plywood paths, and straps to avoid damage. That said, some scuffing of deck surfaces is possible when cutting and removing a large spa โ€” we'll discuss this with you upfront.

Typically $350โ€“$600. The main variables are size, access difficulty, and whether the surround needs to be removed. Text us photos of the spa and the access path for an accurate quote.
