These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by DMV Go Junk (Go Junk LLC), a junk removal and light demolition company based in Herndon, Virginia ("we," "us," "our"). By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
We provide junk removal, hauling, and light demolition services, including but not limited to furniture removal, appliance removal, garage and estate cleanouts, yard waste removal, hot tub removal, shed and deck demolition, and piano removal, across Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland.
Pricing is based on the volume, weight, and type of items being removed, along with access conditions such as stairs, distance to the truck, and disassembly required. Quotes provided by phone, text, or through our website based on photos or descriptions are estimates. A firm price is confirmed on-site or upon review of submitted photos before work begins. We do not add charges after a price has been confirmed and agreed to, except in cases where the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described or shown to us.
Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We ask that you provide accurate access information and be present (or have arranged access) at the scheduled time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for as much notice as possible so we can offer the time slot to another customer. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may affect future scheduling priority.
We do not accept hazardous materials, including but not limited to liquid paint, chemicals, asbestos, medical waste, propane tanks, ammunition, or items with active pest infestations (such as bed bugs), unless the infestation has been professionally treated and the item is properly sealed. We reserve the right to decline any item on-site if it is not safe or legal for us to transport.
By requesting our services, you confirm that you have the legal right to dispose of the items being removed. Once items are loaded onto our truck or trailer, they become the responsibility of DMV Go Junk for donation, recycling, or disposal. We make reasonable efforts to donate or recycle usable items before disposal, but we do not guarantee donation of any specific item and make the final determination on how items are processed.
Payment is due upon completion of the job unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and card payments. Prices confirmed before the job begins are final, except where the actual scope of work differs materially from what was described.
We take reasonable care to protect your property, including floors, walls, and doorways, during every job. However, given the nature of moving heavy and bulky items, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, cosmetic wear, or damage that could not reasonably have been avoided given the size and weight of the items being removed. Any damage concerns should be raised with our team at the time of service.
DMV Go Junk is a licensed and insured business operating in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington DC. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
To the extent permitted by law, DMV Go Junk's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our website and its content are provided for informational purposes. Pricing examples and cost guides on our website are estimates based on typical jobs and are not binding quotes. You agree not to misuse our website, including submitting false information through our contact or booking forms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
