Old fridge, washer, dryer, stove, AC — we haul any appliance, any size, from any floor. EPA-certified freon recovery on fridges and AC units. Same-day available, upfront pricing, no hidden fees.

Getting rid of an old appliance is harder than it looks — you can't put a fridge at the curb, retailers only take it if you're buying new, and donation centers won't take non-working units. DMV Go Junk removes any appliance, any condition, from any floor. We handle all the heavy lifting, and EPA-compliant freon recovery is included for fridges and AC units.

"Matt came out same day and removed our old washer and dryer. Quick, professional, exactly the price he quoted. The carry down the basement stairs was no problem for him. Highly recommend for appliance removal in Northern Virginia."
"Finally got rid of that old fridge that's been sitting in the garage for two years. Matt showed up on time, moved it out without any damage, and the price was fair. Will use again."
"We had a full kitchen worth of old appliances to clear out before a renovation. Matt priced the whole job as a load which saved us money. Done in under two hours. Great service."

Appliance removal costs $99 to $175 depending on the appliance. Washer or dryer: $125 each. Washer + dryer set together: $175. Dishwasher or microwave: $99. Stove, range, or water heater: $125. Refrigerator, freezer, or AC: $150 — EPA freon recovery required. All prices include hauling and disposal.
Refrigerators, freezers, and AC units contain refrigerant that must be recovered by an EPA-certified technician before disposal — it's federal law under the Clean Air Act. Any company offering fridge removal under $100 is almost certainly skipping this step, which is illegal. The $150 price reflects doing it right.
For electric appliances, no — we handle it. For gas appliances (gas stove, gas dryer, gas water heater), the gas line must be disconnected and capped by a licensed plumber or gas technician before we arrive. We cannot move an appliance with an active gas connection.
Yes — we carry appliances from any floor. Ground floor is standard pricing. Basement or upper floor carries may add a small surcharge for very heavy items or very difficult staircases. Text us a photo of the situation and we'll give you an accurate quote before booking.

Yes — and multiple appliances can often be priced as a load rather than individually, which may save you money. Text us photos of everything that needs to go and we'll give you the best option.
Working appliances in good condition may be donated to Habitat for Humanity ReStore or Salvation Army. Non-working units go to licensed recycling facilities. Refrigerants are recovered by EPA-certified technicians. Metal components are recycled as scrap when possible.
Yes. We work in HOA communities throughout Northern Virginia — McNair Farms, Countryside, Burke Centre, Fair Lakes, Kingstowne, and more. We follow all HOA working hour guidelines and never stage items on common areas.
Great — we do multi-appliance pickups regularly. A washer + dryer set is $175, cheaper than $125 + $125 separately. For larger cleanouts with multiple appliances, text us photos and we may be able to price the whole job as a load for even better value.
