A Recent Job — Two-Room Assisted Living Apartment
A son found us on Google after seeing our Herndon senior cleanout page and called about his father's apartment at an assisted living community in Leesburg. His father had passed away at 88 — a man who was clearly much loved. The apartment was on the third floor. Together with the son, we coordinated with facility management, then Batuhan and I used the freight elevator and carried everything out through the back entrance. The living room and bedroom filled a full trailer.

Yes. Most facilities have rules about move-out times, which elevator to use, and which door to bring furniture through. We coordinate with management ahead of time — on this job we used the freight elevator and the back entrance, with the family and management's approval.
It helps to have someone there at the start to point out anything that should be kept, but it's not required. Many families walk us through the room, then let us finish while they handle paperwork with the facility.
