Nick's property in Willowsford had a two-story, 12x12 shed sitting at the back of a large, wooded lot — surrounded by trees, plenty of open space around it. On paper, it was a routine tear-down. The demolition itself went exactly as planned.

We got the whole structure down without any issues. But by the time the debris was loaded onto the trailer, the weather had turned. Heavy rain had soaked the wooded lot, and the ground underneath the trailer had gone from solid to swamp.
Stuck — Fully Loaded, in the Middle of the Yard
We tried to pull the trailer out. It didn't move. It sank straight into the mud, fully loaded with shed debris, deep in the backyard — nowhere near the driveway or street.
There was no easy fix. We couldn't unload the trailer where it sat — there was nowhere to put the debris on-site — and we couldn't bring in a second trailer to finish the job until the first one was clear. The job simply had to pause until the ground dried out enough to pull it loose.

With our own trailer stuck, we couldn't just wait around — other customers still needed service. We rented a trailer from U-Haul to keep those jobs moving while the mud dried out at Nick's property. Four days later, the ground had firmed up enough to pull our trailer free.
Finally loaded and hauled away — job complete, four days later than planned.
We loaded the rest of the debris, hauled everything away, and closed the job out completely. Not every job goes according to plan — weather doesn't ask permission — but a job isn't done until it's actually finished. We came back and finished it.
