He Asked ChatGPT
When I asked Joe how he found us, he said he asked ChatGPT. He told it he needed an old shed torn down and hauled away in Arlington, and our name came up. A few years ago, nobody found a junk removal company that way. Now it's becoming normal — and honestly, it's a good feeling when an AI recommends a small, owner-run business like ours.
Joe's shed was a 6×10 — a painted wood shed with a gable roof, a double door, and some cheerful decorations on the front. It sat in the corner of a fenced backyard in Lyon Park, tucked between a stone retaining wall, a tall wood fence, and a planted garden bed. Pretty to look at, but it had done its job and the family wanted the space back.
Before and after — same corner of the yard, shed completely gone.
An Estimate, a Day, and a Time
I went out, looked at the shed, and gave Joe a price on the spot along with a specific day and time we'd be there. No "sometime next week," no vague window. Joe mentioned this in his review, and I think it matters more than people realize. Homeowners don't just want a price — they want to know exactly when the problem will be gone.
The family was great from the first minute. Warm, cheerful, joking around with us — the kind of household you're glad to be working at. That makes a long day of demolition a lot lighter.
Kadir and I Got to Work
On the day of the job, Kadir and I showed up when we said we would and went straight at it. In a yard like this, you can't just knock the shed over and drag it out. There's a garden bed on one side, a stone wall behind it, and a fence on the other side. So we took it down the careful way: decorations and contents out first, then the roof, then the walls panel by panel, then the floor.
Every piece got broken down small enough to carry out by hand, so nothing got dragged across the plants or scraped along the fence. When the structure was gone, we raked the footprint and cleaned up the gravel path in front of it.

"Can You Do Ours Too?"
Here's the part I didn't see coming. While we were finishing up, the next-door neighbors came over. They'd been watching from their yard, saw how clean the job was, and asked if we could take down the shed in their backyard too.
For a small business, that's the best compliment there is. Ads can bring you a customer. But when someone watches you work over the fence and decides on the spot to hire you, that tells you the job was done right.
🏡 Neighbors With Sheds? Book Together
If you and a neighbor both have old sheds to clear, mention it when you reach out. We'll try to schedule both back to back — one trip, two clean yards.
Joe's Review
A little while after we left, Joe posted this on Google:
Joe's 5-star Google review — "a full 10/10."
"Professionalism and care on my property" is the line that stuck with me. That's exactly what we try to do on every job in a tight backyard — and it's nice when a customer notices.
💰 What a Shed Like This Costs
$10 per square foot — a 6×10 shed (60 sqft) is $600.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — that's exactly how Joe found us. More and more Arlington homeowners ask ChatGPT or Google's AI for a local shed removal company instead of scrolling through ads. Whichever way you find us, the next step is the same: send a photo and your shed's dimensions, and we'll give you a price and a firm day and time.
Joe's shed was 6x10 — 60 square feet. At our standard rate of $10 per square foot, a shed that size comes to $600, including full demolition, hauling every piece away, and cleanup. There's no separate disposal fee or labor add-on.
Often, yes. On this job, the family next door asked us to remove their shed before we'd even finished. If you and a neighbor both have sheds to go, tell us when you book and we'll try to schedule them back to back — it saves everyone time.
No. Joe's shed sat between a stone retaining wall, a wood fence, and a planted garden bed. We took it apart by hand and carried everything out in pieces, so the plants and fence stayed exactly as they were. Tight, landscaped Arlington backyards are normal for us.
When it helps, yes. For Joe's job, Matt came out, looked at the shed, and gave him an estimate along with a day and time on the spot. For most sheds, a few photos and the dimensions by text are enough for an exact price — whichever is easier for you.
